Playable Worlds the developers behind Stars Reach have today announced a Playtester Rewards Campaign as well as the Playtest end date ahead of early access launch on August the 18th.

Playtester Rewards Campaign

The newly announced Playtester Rewards Campaign is made up of 12 quests (some daily repeatable) which will offer up varying amounts of points which in turn unlock rewards. It is ran through your stars-reach.firstlook.gg account and you can use this to track progress on quests and see rewards.

There are a few things to note however, for the wishlist on steam, hours tracked and daily login, your steam profile must be set to public including game playtime, although at the time of writing my hours played and daily logins are not currently tracking and my First Look is not detecting that I am in the Stars Reach discord so I have reached out to Playable Worlds for help. (now resolved)

Some other quests such as “The Meaning of life” will need more work to figure out, I have tried dying but that didn’t seem to count. The meaning of life does seem to be rewarded through dying, the jackalopes on Haven look mighty dangerous.

A wide range of highly sought after digital and physical rewards are available, with many a must have for Stars Reach fans however you will need to put in some serious work to get them all.

Playtest Ending & Closing Events

The second thing announced this evening was that the current (and final) Playtest ahead of Early Access will end on August 12th 1:59PM PT / 4:59PM ET / 9:59PM BST / 8:59PM UTC. Following which the game will be offline for 6 days before we go into steam Early Access on August 18th.
